GIVE of your beautiful and authentic self and create a space for others to do so as well.
RECEIVE other’s gifts and struggles as part of the human journey. Seek to understand people before making snap judgements. Acceptance is key to unlocking the heart.
ALLOW others the space to step into the world as themselves. Try letting go of how someone else reflects upon you.
AUTHENTIC CREATIVE EXPRESSION is the DNA of your heart-print and unique offering to the world.
Founder and Executive Director, Julia Mirkovich created an incredible POPs outreach program. G.R.A.A.C.E gives ALL kids the opportunity to enjoy theatre- regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, or development. On our POPs stage, children with special needs have worked together with typically developing children and students from LA's Boys and Girls Club have joined Manhattan Beach performers to share the love of music, song, and dance. With our G.R.A.A.C.E outreach program, POPs can reach its mission of creating an environment free of judgement, and filled with acceptance, both on and off the stage.
Last year we celebrated POPs G.R.A.A.C.E. Place with a show called “The New
Conformity,” where many of our POPs students and children with special needs new
to POPs, rehearsed and performed together in an evening of celebrating our
likenesses and differences. More importantly we expressed our G.R.A.A.C.E. mission. We learned so much from that first process and have taken what we’ve learned and have created a new experience.
This spring we are putting all of our energy and focus on the process and being
present to the moment. We want our G.R.A.A.C.E. Arts students to be able to slow
down and make discoveries about themselves, create strong bonds, have a blast, and come up with ideas to spread the G.R.A.A.C.E. mission without the pressure of a show!
Our Showcase will be entitled: “G.R.A.A.C.E. Out!” and will take place in-studio in
our Black Box Theatre. Get ready for these young actors to play on stage with their
friends and express their authentic, cool, weird, wacky, fun, joyful, crazy selves!

PUTTIN' ON PRODUCTIONS
It takes a village to create a production and give all kids a chance to shine in the performing arts. We rely on the donations of generous patrons in our community to provide costumes, rehearsal space, transportation for inner city children, snacks, rehearsal binders, and more. Please consider making a donation to our G.R.A.A.C.E. Program and help a child find their true voice!
