Taulene Kagan has spent the last 23 years in the field of marketing and communications with an
emphasis on public relations, serving as a senior strategist and consultant for several Los Angeles based non-profits including AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) and United Way.
Since 2006, she has been with United Way of Greater Los Angeles, a prominent nonprofit servicing over 13 million residents in L.A. County, currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Taulene led the strategy and launch of United Way’s historical transformation from a pass-through organization to mission-based with its Creating Pathways Out of Poverty Plan. She played an instrumental role in the launch and growth of United Way’s annual 5K family run/walk to end homelessness, HomeWalk, building it from a 4,000 person walk in 2007, to 10,000 participants
and Kobe Bryant as its Honorary Chair. Taulene also produced United Way’s inaugural Women’s Summit in 2016 with Kerry Washington, that generated almost $1M to help 1,000 women and girls out of poverty. Previously, Taulene worked as a Senior Publicist and Account Executive for The Regan Group (TRG).

Originally from Toronto, Canada she lives in Manhattan Beach with her husband, three children, two rescue dogs and the latest family addition, Ginger the guinea pig.
