Evie Hutton

Evie Hutton, originally from Austin, TX, received her BFA in Musical Theater Performance at the University of Oklahoma before performing professionally around the globe, most notably in the Broadway International Tour of Hairspray.  After moving from NY to CA in 2010 she began her most rewarding and difficult role to date, that of mother.  At the same time she transitioned from performing to directing and choreographing, mainly for children’s theater.  She is now the mother of 4 wonderful boys, husband to Ian, and an advocate for foster youth. Evie adores seeing the courage, determination, creativity, and self-esteem growth that occurs when children engage in theater.
